The Kenny Scharf x Crocs Pollex Clog is the latest stylistic update to Salehe Bembury’s Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job collection.
Blue and green spray-paint graphics from Scharf cover the molded upper and flow over the seamless Croslite™ foundation. Blob-like characters from Scharf dot the rest of the treatment, giving the entire silhouette a surreal edge.
Each piece in the drop is given its own unique placement of colors and graphics that establish a strong asymmetrical aesthetic. A light green hue with embroidered blue elements matching the tones in the upper forms the heel strap. Inside, the Pollex’s signature traction pattern reappears and returns to Bembury’s fingerprint theme.
Bembury continues to keep the Pollex style as the canvas for his artist-driven projects.
