Meek Mill Tells Elizabeth Holmes He’s Going to ‘Check’ He…

Meek Mill and Elizabeth Holmes—the former CEO of the blood testing company Theranos, who was convicted of fraud—have connected on social media, and she asked him to look into her case.
Elizabeth Holmes recently tweeted about the “most underrated AI video creators” on X, formerly Twitter, and Meek Mill interacted with her to express his support for her encouraging creators. “We neeed more of this on social media,” he replied. “Thanks Meek,” Holmes added. “Currently serving 137 month sentence in federal prison. Would love to work with you on Reform. Here is some legislation I have drafted. Your story inspired me to keep fighting.”
In a follow-up, Meek Mill indicated that he is willing to work with on her prison reform in some fashion. “Let me check your story out!!!” he said in a follow-up.
In 2022, Holmes was convicted of three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. She’s currently serving over 11 years in prison, but is expected to be released in 2032 due to good conduct. She appealed the conviction shortly after, but her arguments were rejected earlier this year. In her tweet to Meek, she linked to her American Freedom Act bill, legislation she hopes to pass to help her and others get out of prison sooner.
Meek has recently expressed a lot of interest in artificial intelligence, and said last month that he’s working on a tool he believes “can change the world.” He added, “I can’t wait to get a chance to show the world how smart I really am!” He also revealed that he can’t find his father’s body in a Philly graveyard, and publicly asked X’s built-in AI system Grok to see if he could file a lawsuit over it.
