Nike Mind 002 Black Hyper Crimson HQ4308-001
Nike’s experimental design language gets another futuristic interpretation with the new Nike Mind 002 “Black/Hyper Crimson” colorway.
The company has played around with sci-fi like cushioning in the past with Shox columns, ISPA pod tooling, and more, but this new take feels like it’s dialed in on the right balance of bold and wearable to rotate in daily.
The upper features a perforated black shell that looks sleek while allowing the Hyper Crimson underlayer to shine through. A chrome mini Swoosh on the lateral side provides a sharp accent in the same tone as the chrome heel badge stamped with “MIND”. The midsole design ebbs and flows in soft waves while the outsole is made up of a grid of circular pods that compress and rebound with each step. It looks wild but the comfort is something the model nails.
