Playboy Model Says American Airlines Made Her Cover Up Sp…
A Playboy model was left upset after a traveling experience with American Airlines where she claims she was asked by a flight attendant to cover up her ‘big boobs’ before boarding a plane.
Sarah Blake Cheeks went viral over the weekend with a series of posts on X where she claimed, “The flight attendant on American Airlines told me I needed to button up my shirt prior to boarding my flight. I was unaware that American Airlines had a dress code that said you can’t wear athletic attire if you have big boobs.”
Cheeks included a photo of the outfit she was allegedly wearing during the incident—athletic shoes, leggings, a sports bra and an unbuttoned plaid shirt.
Cheeks claims she was flying out of Atlanta during the mishap, describing her unfortunate travel day full of hurdles.
Cheeks went on to tweet, “Finally leaving Atlanta after a cancelled flight this morning, rescheduling twice, and then being delayed. Now the flight attendant, tells me to button my shirt, but not the other women wearing the same outfit but are different in color than I am. @AmericanAir glad I’m a platinum member.”
According to the company’s website, American Airlines has a pretty general dress code policy—stating passengers should, “Dress appropriately; bare feet or offensive clothing aren’t allowed.”
A representative for the company went later commented on Cheeks’ tweet, writing, “We have a deep culture of respect for both our customers and our team members, and we’re sorry for anything less than consistent and friendly service. We’re sharing this experience with crew leadership internally, and we’d like to have our specialist take a closer look if we can. Please meet us in DMs with a good phone and email contact for you, in case they need to reach out.”
It’s unclear if Cheeks reached out to the airline and if there was any sort of resolution.
