PUMA Hali 1 Love & Basketball
Tyrese Haliburton just previewed a PUMA Hali 1 “Love & Basketball” colorway, and the early look already feels like one of his most personal pairs yet. The Pacers guard shared the sneaker through Instagram Stories, giving fans another peek at how he’s been building out his signature line while recovering from injury.
This edition leans heavily into the storytelling theme Haliburton and Salehe Bembury have been pushing since the shoe’s debut. The upper blends white, navy and yellow—a simple nod to Indiana—but the hook is right on the tongues. One shoe has 32 and the other has 22, which were the numbers worn by Monica Wright and Quincy McCall, respectively, at Crenshaw High in the 2000 classic Love & Basketball. That detail will immediately stick out and, honestly, sneakerheads are going to love it. Even better, PUMA’s logo actually appears on the Crenshaw uniforms in the movie, so the connection feels surprisingly natural.
Haliburton has tapped into this theme before. Back in his Nike days, he laced up a GT Cut 3 PE inspired by the film, so circling back to it with his own signature model makes the story even stronger.
There’s no confirmed release date for this pair yet. If PUMA moves forward, a Spring 2026 drop seems like the earliest realistic window.
