Real or Music Video Shoot?

4batz and Anycia very much appeared to announce their wedding over the weekend, with the U Made Me a St4r artist describing the moment as the “biggest day” of his life. Some fans, however, were not immediately convinced.

On Sunday (Sept. 7), the couple shared multiple photos of what looked like a wedding ceremony in Los Angeles. In the photos, Anycia, whose Grady Baby project arrived back in July, is seen wearing a white dress, while 4batz, currently on the precipice of launching his new album Still Shinin’, wears a suit.

“The biggest day of my life,” 4batz told fans on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in an IG Stories update, 4batz soundtracked a photo of him and Anycia with Twista’s Chris Brown-featuring 2010 track “Make a Movie.”

Some fans were quick to run with speculation after the photos started making the rounds, namely focused on a theory that the images could stem from a video shoot. Those convinced by such speculation, expectedly, have cited the upcoming drop date of 4batz’s Still Shinin’ project in their arguments, while others have questioned ring-related matters in connection with the photos.

The album’s title, as 4batz explained in a recent Apple Music interview, was inspired by a period in his life during which he had to remind himself of his “worth” while acknowledging the pressures he faced while working on his previous project.

“I had to just slow and down and just had to remind myself I can still do this,” he said in August. “I’m not gon’ give up.”

Presumably, fans will have answers on whether wedding-focused speculation is apt or not in the coming days. Complex has reached out to reps for comment.

Still Shinin’ is out Sept. 12.
