Shocking Arrest Made in the Case of Missing Seven-Month-O…

A shocking arrest has been made in the case of the missing 7-month-old boy in California.
A release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on August 22 reveals Emmanuel Haro’s parents—Jake and Rebecca Haro have been arrested for murder.
The release states, “This morning, detectives from the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail and Specialized Enforcement Division arrested Jake and Rebecca Haro at their residence in Cabazon for PC 187 – Murder. Investigators will continue their search for seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro.”
Haro’s case became national news when he was reported missing on August 14. The young boy’s mother had stated he was abducted from a parking lot in Yucaipa, California.
At first, both parents were very open and willing to talk to the media about their story—giving tearful interviews and asking for more information.
Rebecca described the abduction by saying, “Somebody said ‘Hola,’ and that’s all I remember. I saw white, and I fell on the floor, and as I got up, I couldn’t find my son.” She continued, “I checked all around my truck and I ran into Big 5. I asked the lady if she saw a baby. She said no.”
Haro’s recounting of the alleged abduction was met with immediate questions from authorities who reportedly had found inconsistencies in her story.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department stated that after Haro was further questioned about the inconsistencies in her story, she refused to talk further about the incident. Prior to the parent’s arrest, authorities said they could not rule out foul play in the disappearance of the seven-month-old boy.
What’s more, it was later revealed the young boy’s father had a previous criminal history involving child cruelty. It was back in 2023 whe he pleaded guilty to willful cruelty to a child. He was sentenced to probation and jail time for the offense.
