India’s polyester & viscose yarn prices fall on subdued demand
India’s manmade yarn market showed a mixed trend amid payment constraints and festive demand.
Viscose yarn prices dropped ₹2–3 per kg in Surat and Mumbai, while polyester yarn fell in Ludhiana.
However, rising cotton prices boosted polyester-cotton yarn by ₹2/kg.
Cotton prices in north India remained stable due to tight supply and subdued trading.
